Project Description
NSSF Building, Kenya
During the construction of the NSSF building, the construction team by NK BROTHERS was faced with a major problem: the ground was unstable and there was a landslide during the excavation phase. At this point, Minex Microtunneling was contracted to help stabilize the soil and we came in to stabilize the cut face of the excavation site.
Minex implemented the “soil nailing” technique to stabilize the ground, installed grouted dowels, a wire mesh to create the frame and a total quantity of 160 cubic meters of shotcrete.
